What Is E-Pay Punjab?
E-Pay Punjab is the first government payment aggregator introduced to improve the pace of financial inclusion among the citizens of Punjab. This is a much-needed initiative considering how Pakistan is weakening in digitizing service delivery, and it will help make payments to the government a fortune more fine.
E-Pay Punjab has allowed a big number of people to pay their taxes online on the move or from the convenience of their homes. The medium allows the online payment of 24 taxes/levies for 11 different branches through ATM, internet banking, mobile phone banking, or over-the-counter at 1Link associate banks. The taxes can also be produced using Easy Paisa, Jazz Cash, U-paisa, and other microfinance banks.
Linking all registered banks and the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) using 1-link connectivity, the application will authorize people to pay 14 of their taxes through 3 payment procedures or Alternative Delivery Channels. With the use of the E-Pay Punjab application, people will no longer need to physically visit government offices and wait in long lines to pay their dues to the government.

This integration will also help boost its adoption along with much-needed clearness.
The introduction of such criteria is also needed in enhancing tax collection, and encouraging results are already being noticed, according to the Punjab government. The objective of launching the e-pay app is to make it more comfortable for the government of Pakistan to collect tax revenue in the form of taxes through an easy solution.
